The most iconic Byron Bay walk! Follow the track through  Clarkes, The Pass and Wategos, all the way to Cape Byron Lighthouse. Keep an eye out for koalas in the gum trees, or whales and dolphins along the coast.

Distance: 3.7 km loop

Byron Bay Lighthouse Walk

One of the Northern Rivers’ hidden gems! Take the easy walk to the lookout for beautiful views over the falls, or venture down the steeper track to the base, where you can explore the small cave behind the cascade. Keep an eye out for turtles and birdlife along the way.

Distance: 330 m return to lookout | 1 km return to base

Killen Falls

Scenic Walks, Trails & Waterfalls

One for the waterfall and hiking lovers! This 13 km track winds through ancient rainforest in Nightcap National Park, leading to the spectacular Minyon Falls, where water cascades 100 metres into the valley below. A more challenging walk, but well worth it for the scenery.

Distance: 13 km
