Pet Stay Guidelines
We are delighted to welcome well-behaved dogs to Villa 14 Byron Bay.
To ensure everyone enjoys their stay and to help us maintain the villa to the highest standard for all guests, we kindly ask that you follow these simple guidelines.
Before You Book

Dogs are welcome at the owner’s discretion and must be approved prior to arrival.

We welcome small to medium-sized dogs.

Non-shedding breeds are preferred, although shedding breeds can be discussed.

Unfortunately, puppies are not permitted.
During Your Stay

Please supervise your dog at all times.

Dogs must not be left unattended inside the villa.

Where possible, we prefer dogs to accompany you when leaving the property.

New environments can sometimes cause anxiety or unexpected behaviour, so please consider your dog’s comfort and safety.
Keeping the Villa Clean
We appreciate your help in keeping Villa 14 clean and comfortable for all guests.

Dog waste: Poo bags and a dedicated dog waste bin are provided.

Excess hair: A vacuum, broom and dustpan are available.

Sand or mud: Dog towels, a hose outside the front gate, and an outdoor shower are provided to help keep the villa clean.
Furniture & Bedding
To help us maintain a high standard for all guests:

Pets are not permitted on furniture or beds.

Please ensure your dog does not chew or damage furniture, cushions, or other furnishings.
*An additional $100 cleaning fee may apply if extra cleaning is required due to excessive pet hair, accidents, or mess.
Gardens

Please keep dogs away from garden beds, planted areas, and the landscaped entrance walkway.
Health & Safety
Before arrival, please ensure your dog:

Is up to date with flea, tick, and worm treatments.

Wears a secure collar with an ID tag.

By bringing your pet to Villa 14, you agree to comply with these Pet Stay Guidelines and accept responsibility for any damage or additional cleaning required as a result of your pet’s stay.
